PHOENIX Business Consulting, Inc., and The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. today announced their completed merger and will operate as PHOENIX Business Consulting (PHOENIX). PHOENIX becomes the largest third party SSA BPCS® and SSA ERPLX service provider in North America.

PHOENIX Business Consulting, Inc., (PHOENIX) and The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to merge companies. Once finalized, the merger will forge the largest third party full-time consulting team servicing SSA BPCS® and SSA ERPLX users in North America.
The merger-of-equals between PHOENIX and RIG will retain the PHOENIX Business Consulting, Inc. name as well as the Pennsylvania-based corporate registration. Current RIG and PHOENIX executives will equally own 50 percent of the "new" PHOENIX.
Both companies are premiere providers of business consulting services and solutions specializing in SSA BPCS ERP software. Similar in size, the two companies' client base is complimentary with a concentration in the food and beverage sector. NicePak has contracted with RIG to provide manufacturing management support for their Mooresville, IN operations specifically focused on improving business processes related to inventory control, master production scheduling, scheduling, material requirements planning, and capacity management. NicePak, founded in 1959, manufactures pre-moistened wipes as an optimum dispensing system for liquids across a broad spectrum of applications including cleaning, sanitization, healthcare, cosmetics and personal hygiene.
Tyco – Ludlow has selected RIG to assist and manage their BPCS implementation in their Homer, LA facility. Tyco is a multi discipline conglomerate. RIG will assist the Ludlow Coated Products Division in developing a project definition, charter and a small, workable prototypes for an ERP implementation for its Homer location. In addition, a review of the TPA Plastics and Adhesives BPCS environments is included in the scope of this work. RIG will provide an analysis of the opportunities to rationalize the BPCS installation and to identify opportunities to consolidate business processes across the 3 business units.
John Randolph Medical Center will be come the fourth hospital in HCA’s network to utilize RIG’s InfoMark process for their common annual review date employee evaluation process. InfoMark for HCA, is a web based employee assessment application with multiple management review levels. RIG will assist John Randolph set up the employee job descriptions and initiate the process. Additionally RIG will provide an on site training session for approximately forty raters. The process greatly reduces the administrative burden associated with the annual review process.
Lewis Gale Medical Center in Roanoke, VA will be come the third hospital in HCA’s network to utilize RIG’s InfoMark process for their common annual review date employee evaluation process. InfoMark for HCA, is a web based employee assessment application with multiple management review levels. RIG provides the administration of the entire process ensuring timely response and completion. The process greatly reduces the administrative burden associated with the annual review process. 2005 will be the third year that Chippenham Johnston Willis Hospitals have used InfoMark for HCA to administer their annual employee review process.
Southeastern Mills in Rome, GA contracted with RIG to develop a solution utilizing XML document transfer and data synchronization for their multiple blending and formulation systems with BPCS as the repository for enterprise manufacturing data. A May conversion date is expected with multiple process reviews in the interim. This integration solution is expected to be the backbone of future integration efforts between BPCS and other supplementary systems.
Cordset Design, located in Pink Hill, NC has purchased the IntuitiveMFG enterprise resource planning solution. RIG will assist Cordset with their implementation activity with a May 2005 conversion date. Cordset manufactures configured cord and connectors for the computer industry.
