RIG releases ODBC connectivity functionality for DistinctRF

The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. recently developed and implemented a DistinctRF© ODBC enhanced connectivity module for Blue Ridge Paper Packaging (BRPP). BRPP is a very good client of the firm and has been a DistinctRF© customer since 2000. The ODBC functionality allows a direct update of the tables and files used to hold inventory transactional data without using intermediate connectivity steps. DistinctRF© with the ODBC module is a very efficient and reliable way to integrate external data with host applications. RIG, incorporated in 1989, is a technology company with home offices in the Innsbrook Corporate Complex. RIG develops, markets, and implements DistinctRF© a data collection toolkit originally introduced in 1996. RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services, and InfoMark survey processing and administration for corporate and higher education applications.

Tri-Dim purchases DistinctRF for it's Louisa facility.

Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, headquartered in Wayne, New Jersey, has contracted with The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) to install the most recent release of RIG’s wireless data collection application development tool, DistinctRF© (DRF), at Tri-Dim’s 150,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Louisa, Virginia. Tri-Dim’s purchase of DRF v4.0 includes a newly developed ODBC module. In addition to DistinctRF© which was originally introduced in 1996, RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services, and InfoMark survey processing and administration. Tri-Dim, with multiple manufacturing facilities and distribution centers nationwide, has been an innovator in the world of general ventilation air filtration products since the mid 1960's. Dairy Pak deploys ODBC functionality for DistinctRF©

The DairyPak Division of Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc. has purchased an upgrade to the most recent release of DistinctRF© (DRF), a wireless data collection application development tool, from The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG). DairyPak’s upgrade to DRF v4.0 includes the newly developed ODBC module. In addition to DistinctRF© which was originally introduced in 1996, RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services, and InfoMark survey processing and administration. DairyPak, with converting plants in Athens, Georgia; Fort Worth, Texas; Clinton, Iowa; Olmsted Falls, Ohio; Morristown, New Jersey; and Richmond, Virginia; is a leading producer of liquid and dry packaging. With more than 6 billion cartons sold in 1999, it is the second-largest manufacturer of finished "gable top" milk and juice cartons in the United States. ConAgra Signs on to use DistinctRF©

ConAgra, a Fortune 50 company, has contracted with The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) to install RIG’s wireless data collection application development tool, DistinctRF©, at their manufacturing facility in Archbold, Ohio. In addition to DistinctRF©, RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services, and InfoMark survey processing and administration. RIG had worked previously with ConAgra to manage BPCS manufacturing software implementation at multiple nationwide facilities. ConAgra Grocery Products Company’s plants produce such well-known brands as Hunts, Knott’s Berry Farm, Wesson, Swiss Miss, La Choy, Peter Pan, Healthy Choice, Bumble Bee and Pam. Innsbrook Neighbors Join Forces

The Virginia Health Quality Center (VHQC) has contracted with The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) to develop a web based application for VHQC’s 2002 annual employee survey which will use RIG’s InfoMark survey development and administration process. The VHQC, winner of the U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award Certificate for Significant Achievement, is a health care quality improvement organization that offers services to a wide range of clients who are interested in assessing and improving the quality of health care for a variety of populations. UVa Using Web Based Solution from Richmond Information Group

The University of Virginia (UVa) is piloting a web based application from The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) to provide end of course surveys for students. UVa’s Department of Information Technology and Communication will utilize RIG’s InfoMark survey development and administration process in selected courses this semester to replace a paper based system presently in use. In addition to InfoMark, RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services and DistinctRF©, a wireless data collection application development tool.

Richmond Information Group Unveils Latest Version of DistinctRF Data Collection Toolkit

The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. (RIG) recently released version three (V3.0) of their data collection toolkit; DistinctRF©. The added functionality of V3.0 improves system redundancy allowing for uninterrupted data collection during system outages; and additional Windows® Server support for the Application Enabler and Processor module (AEP) which creates a non intrusive connectivity to most host applications. In addition to DistinctRF©, RIG also provides manufacturing and technical consulting services and InfoMark survey processing and administration.

RIG had worked previously with International Home Foods, makers of Chef Boyardee products, which was purchased by ConAgra in the fourth quarter of last year.
